Krohn Conservatory is a large greenhouse in which grows over 3500 species of plants from around the world. The conservatory is divided into several rooms, each dedicated to a certain kind of plant. There is a room for cacti and succulents, a room for bonsai, a tropical area, an area full of orchids and ferns, and other rooms. Krohn Conservatory is a "must see" for anyone in the Cincinnati area. The Krohn Conservatory is located in Eden Park, a city park which overlooks the Ohio River.

Above is the Krohn Conservatory. Besides housing thousands of plant species it also was home to hundreds of free-flying butterflies at the time we visited in April 2011.

All of the butterflies were natives of Brazil.

This is a panoramic view of the mighty Ohio River, as seen from Eden Park.

The above waterfall is a magnificent sight in the conservatory.
